Our staff likes to show off our beautiful yarn in their own projects. Rosanne Marks shares two of her knitting projects!
I selected LB Collection® Superwash Merino to make a winter hat for myself because of its gorgeous colors and beautiful stitch definition. The free Ravelry pattern — Skyping Beanie — was an easy-wearing pattern choice. I wanted something that would be light and comfortable to wear and, with the great yardage, could provide some stash yarn for a future striped project.
For my dad’s birthday scarf, I selected two colors of LB Collection® Baby Alpaca to knit in a linen stitch. The featherlight, yet warm alpaca shows beautifully in two neutral tones — Natural and Silver Grey Heather. The linen stitch is typically knit on a larger than usual needle to accommodate the slip stitches and resembles a woven fabric.
