Spring is coming (I promise!) and after that: Summer! Summer is a great time for sock knitting because you don’t have a lap full of wool and one pair of socks can provide hours of happy knitting entertainment in a compact package, so it’s the perfect travel project. You can make basic stockinette socks in fun yarns, or jazz up your feet with fancy textured patterns or colorwork. But first you need to know the basics: get ready for summer with our Socks on Magic Loop class.
In this three-part class, you’ll learn the ever popular Magic Loop technique for knitting small things on long circular needles. Gretchen will teach you a classic heel with flap and gusset and the Kitchener stitch to finish the toe. Cast on for sock #2 in the last session and you’ll be wearing your first pair of hand knitted socks before you know it!
The first session starts Tuesday, March 3rd but there’s still time to enroll! Don’t miss the chance to learn this popular technique!
