Last week we were honored to host Lily Chin for a behind the scenes glimpse into the making of her two newest books: Knitting Tips & Tricks , and Crochet Tips & Tricks .

It was a packed house of knitters and crocheters, eager to pick up her amazing tips. We learned about the after thought chain,

tricks for buttons, how to mark your swatches and much more. We also learned about how to make a knitting & crochet chart from any picture (see Yankees logo below):

Everyone got to have their books signed by Lily and shared their projects.

Here’s one of our customers who was so impressed by Lily’s last book signing for Mosaic Magic , that she finished a whole afghan & brought it to proudly show Lily. Great job!
