Artist, Juliet Hone, has brought us another beautiful window display! This time Julie created an explosion of color to contrast our previous all-white window. Her inspiration came when she saw a man riding to the farmers’ market, his bike laden with buckets brimming with flowers.
True to her usual style, Julie’s piece is full of gorgeous detail from the yarn-bombed bike with a glittery seat to the meticulously rendered flower varieties. We strongly recommend that you come see the window in person, as photos can’t do it justice! Here is a peek at this wonderful work of art as it progressed from an idea to the finished masterpiece to give you some incentive…

Any chance you might open a store in Chicago?
We don’t currently have any plans to open retail stores in other cities. The Lion Brand stores aren’t franchised. The buildings used for the Studio and the Outlet were corporate buildings that were already owned by the company. For this reason these locations were the most convenient for us.
[…] those of you inspired by the new Studio window, check out the dozens of knit and crochet flower patterns available on the Lion Brand Stitch […]
this is all so pretty !!! do you have patterns for all of this?
All of the pieces are original works by Juliet Hone so unfortunately there are no patterns available.
Would love to have your store in New Orleans or at least have a bigger selection of Lion brand yarn at Michael’s
Hi @87c38b1727ea73ef149e2313b2c49815:disqus, we don’t have plans to open more stores at this time, but we hope you’ll visit us if you’re ever in NYC! If you’re looking for our products in your local stores and can’t find something, don’t forget to tell their managers! Since stores and chains order our products based on what they think their customers would buy, it’s always helpful for them to hear first-hand that you’re looking for something in particular. Plus some stores may be able to special order our products for you. Hope that helps!
