Thursday night the wonderful Joan Tapper & Gale Zucker came to tell us all about their new book, Craft Activism. The book showcases inspiration, whimsey, and the joy of creation on every page.
We learned about crafters all over the country who were using crafting to make a statement, build community, work for charity, and save the world! We got a glimpse at the work of yarn bombers like the Jafagirls in Ohio and of fiber artists like Ruth Marshall in the Bronx. The projects that used everyday recycled materials, like tin cans or plasitc bags, really blew our minds.
See how much your crafting can do to enhance your life, your community and your world!
