Save the Date: Master Classes with Margaret Radcliffe On Sale January 2

Expert teacher and designer Margaret Radcliffe joins us in March, so be sure to save the date! These classes will be available for sale starting on January 2, so be sure to check back on our online booking system or call us ASAP, as master classes tend to sell out quickly.

From designing your own stitch pattern to intarsia to creating great crochet fabric, these classes cover all kinds of techniques!

Margaret Radcliffe
A knitter for 48 years, a designer for 28, and a teacher for 20, Margaret Radcliffe is the author of The Knitting Answer Book (Storey Publishing, 2005) and The Essential Guide to Color Knitting Techniques (Storey Publishing, 2008). Her third book, The Circular Knitting Workshop, will be released in March 2012. In 1997, Margaret founded Maggie’s Rags™and publishes a line of knitting patterns under that name.Margaret joins us for two classes in March:
  Helix Knitting
Knit circular stripes with absolutely no jogs. No one will ever find your beginning and end of round. Use as few as two colors or as many as you like. This technique produces perfect interlocking spirals of each color. Class will cover casting on, shaping, and working on circular needles, magic loop, two circulars and double pointed needles.Sunday, March 18, 10:00 – 1:00 pm

  Seaming Without Sewing
Love to knit but hate to seam? Knit beautiful garments, but hate the way they look when they’re finished? Finishing can make the difference between “professionally hand crafted” and “home made.” If you have sweaters in pieces just waiting to be finished because you find sewing annoying, have trouble seeing to sew, difficulty holding a sewing needle, or just plain hate to sew, this class is for you. Learn to use crochet, binding off, picking up, and knitting on make perfect seams, plus perfect afterthought pockets.Sunday, March 18, 2:00 – 5:00 pm
