Then you’re invited to join us for WEFT! Hosted by Studio Education Director Gretchen, WEFT meets one Thursday a month to celebrate small loom weaving. This intimate group gathers to create, discuss, and share projects with an appreciative audience. Be sure to bring your finished textiles for a show and tell.

Thinking of investing in a loom?
WEFT is a great opportunity to try one out, and ask questions! We have a selection to try, such as the Schacht Cricket and Flip, as well as the Ashford Knitter’s Loom, Inklette, and Sample It! For interested tapestry weavers we have the School Loom and Ashford Frame loom. If you’re not sure yet, this is the perfect time to get a feel for options, and ask questions about renting!

Hi Gretchen,
I have shopped at your studio. I used the Ice Cream yarn for a baby blanket (knit) and booties (crochet) in crocodile stitch. Loved it.
Now I want to try weaving. Never done it but always wanted to. Can I come and try out your looms as I have no idea which one would be a good one to acquire.
What should I bring with me if I am coming. It is a 2.5 hour drive for me and weather is a factor.
