This year, we collected a grand total of 1,269 blocks for Warm Up America! Foundation. And on Sunday December 11, over 20 wonderful knitters and crocheters came to help us seam all those blocks into afghans. After 5 hours of laughing, chatting, and lots of seaming, we had 14 finished afghans ready to be donated and start keeping people warm.

All together, we collected enough afghan blocks to make an additional 20 adult blankets, or 51 baby blankets!

Thanks so much to everyone who donate blocks, and to those who donated their time to seam them up! Your careful stitches will be warming up those in need this winter and for many winters to come.
