Welcome back to the feature where we highlight our staff’s favorite places to explore in the neighborhood we know and love! This time around we’re focusing on our top picks for gifts. Whether looking for something for a family member, friend, coworker, or to treat yourself, these delightful shops offer a unique assortment of items so you can find the perfect present for that special person on your list.
Pippin Vintage Jewelry is a charming shop we love visiting to look for gift ideas and to check the stock of vintage buttons for our knitted and crocheted sweaters. Give yourself plenty of time to browse – items are stored in jewelry cabinets and drawers, and it feels like rummaging through your grandmother’s jewelry collection for treasures! The shop is well-curated with beautiful pieces in a wide price range, and you can find anything from costume jewelry to antique engagement rings. For the men in your life, check out their stash of cufflinks and tie clips. Be sure to visit the home goods annex of Pippin right next door – follow the quirky hallway filled with thrifted mirrors to Pippin Vintage Home in the back!

Lush provides fresh handmade cosmetics. The store smells amazing, and we love to browse their colorful bath and body products! With Lush’s values of fighting animal testing, reducing packaging, and sourcing their (100% vegetarian) products ethically, we feel great about shopping here. Be sure to check out their signature bath bombs and face masks. And for your next gift project: knit or crochet a few quick washcloths to give along with bars of Lush soap!
