Spring Time is for Learning: Our New Class Schedule is Out!

Last month we wrote about how to save, this month we are rolling out our exciting new spring schedule!

Our March/April schedule features 40 workshops (two of which are new!), 7 Skill Builders, and 5 Master Classes! We offer classes daytime, nighttime, and Sunday so there is always a chance to learn at LBYS. With so much to choose from, finding the right class for you might be tough so we’ll point you in the right direction.

Hi!

I see you are not offering the Basic Complete course this spring. Will you do it in May? I just finished Knitting 1 and thought the Basic Knitting package would be better than just taking the Knitting 2 course. Should I wait for the next Basic complete or just go for knitting 2? Thank you!!!

  We will be offering the Basic Compete course again in May, however if you don’t want to lose your momentum, you can also register for Knitting 2, do a bit of practicing, and then you’d be ready for the Intermediate Complete Course in April. Don’t forget you get a 10% graduation discount the day you finish a class, so you can do Knitting 2 and then use the discount on the Intermediate Complete. Hope that helps!

      The Basic Class is a sampler of many techniques (gauge, increases, decreases, finishing, fixing mistakes, cable, lace etc.) The workshops then delve into greater depth for each topic. The other workshops coming up in our March April schedule that would be good for you are:
      
      - Cast On & Bind offs for Every Project – 3/10
      - Intro to Knitting in the Round – 3/10
      - Get En “gauged” (the Gauge class) – 3/24
      - Finishing – 3/25
      - Skill Builder: Increases & Decreases Beyond the Basics – 4/21
      - Skill Builder: Chart Reading – 4/29
      
      Other workshops that you just missed, but will come back on the next schedule are:
      
      - Knitting Surgeon: Mistakes and How to Fix Them
      - Intro to Cables
      - Intro to Lace
      
      For the best money saver, you might want to look at getting the Knitting Essentials Pack. This includes five of your most important workshops for only $200 (that’s $40 a workshop).
