I plan to make one scarf a month for charity so I am not knitting like crazy at the end of the year. I also want to try fair isle!

I think my resolution is one I can definitely keep this coming year:
Continue to buy out the studio’s stock of LB Collection® Baby Alpaca in both Fawn Heather and Charcoal Grey Heather and knit it all for myself.

Maybe I’ll break down and buy myself a Riggle Heddle Loom and finally do more weaving than I do on my 4″ pin loom (Weavette-style).

I’d have to say that in 2010 I’d like to take on more complex garments and I’d also like to try my hand at lace. I’d also like to knit a patchwork afghan with 40 panels to celebrate my 40th birthday.

In a more serious vein: I hope to finish several charity projects I’ve let languish on the needles, such as my 30for30 project (30 preemie hats in honour of my 30th birthday.. last October)….

I want to remember new techniques once I learn them! I also want to learn how to make convertible mittens/glittens, how to cable, and I’d like to make a cardigan. I would also like to not be too overambitious . . .

I’D LIKE TO MAKE SOMETHING FOR MYSELF FOR A CHANGE – MAYBE A SWEATER OR VEST.

This year I want to learn how to make a pair of socks and also take a finishing class at the Studio.

Studio says: You’re in luck! There’s a Finishing Class in the current schedule. There is also a brand new Crochet Socks class in this term!

I plan on knitting more blankets for charities like warmwoolies .org and taking classes to learn how to knit continental style. Can this “old dog” learn a new trick? I hope so.

I hope to finish two sweaters i STARTED AT LEAST 2 YRS AGO FOR ME. I will still continue for my grandchild and for the new one on the way. I hope no more prayer shawls are needed for family &/or coworkers. A new vest would be nice. I already started a scarf and hat set but it is a quick pattern.
