As a contributor to this work, I want to say thank you to Lion Brand for hosting it–it’s great to have it where it can be seen.

The group, organized by the incredible Myra Wood, has just mounted this year’s exhibit, The Four Seasons, and it can be seen here: http://www.freeformcrochet.com/2009/Pages/main.html

Studio says: We are also thrilled to welcome another member of the Freeform Crochet Guild, Margaret Hubert to teach a Free Form Knit and Crochet Class. July 26th. Call 212-243-9070 to register.

I’m fond of all kinds of crochet work but perhaps freeform and vintage irish crochet are my favourite ones. It’s astonishing the way you realise these works, I believe they’re true works of art. I can’t understand why freeform crochet is almost completely unknown in Italy – don’t I? Thank you for your great creativeness.

I’d love it if someone posted a video on how to crochet that work. Love fiber art pieces
