In this eco-conscious society, crafting is more popular than ever! What was a disposable world is suddenly looking for ways to conserve, ways to speak out — and these crafters are getting the message out! Come and hear author Joan Tapper and photographer Gale Zucker as they talk about their new book, Craft Activism. The book covers topics from “yarn bombing,” to using your knitting or crochet to make more than just a fashion statement, to some crazy cool project ideas! Knitting and crochet are just the beginning. Get some great ideas for getting your “craftivism” on!
*Due to the constraints of our online booking service, we are now asking for 1 ticket per e-mail. We are sorry for any inconvenience. If you have friends who are not on our mailing list, please feel free to forward them the RSVP form link so that they can RSVP for themselves.
Out of fairness, since we regularly turn so many people away, we will no longer be able to accept a guaranteed RSVP from someone who has been a past no show or cancels with less then 48 hours notice. They will, however, go on the wait list and join the RSVP list if there is room. In order to be fair to all customers, we ask that you cancel with 48 hour notice if you cannot come to our free events.
|All events take place at the Lion Brand Yarn Studio, located at 34 West 15th Street, New York, NY 10011|
