Most people probably think of the ubiquitous granny square quilt, but they can be made into scarves, hats, garments, and other household items. On top of that, they don’t even need to be squares. There are granny circles, hexagons, and so on.
There are lots of different motifs you can use to create a granny square, so they can be simple or complex. The great thing is that to make a simple granny square you don’t need more than basic crochet skills! If you’ve taken our Crochet 1 class or have a similar level of expertise, you know enough to make a granny square!
This class will go over four different ways to make a granny square, so you can go home and try out all sorts of projects. You’ll be able to make many unique items, using practically any weight yarn.
