Do you know basic crochet but feel like you need some help moving into making garments? Then our Crochet Baby Cardigan class might be just what you need!
Learn the basics of crochet sweater construction while you make this sweet cardigan! Students will get practical experience determining gauge, working with written instructions and schematic diagrams, learn simple shaping, seaming pieces together, and adding the collar and button. Skills mastered in this class will translate to adult garments with more complex construction techniques.
Crochet Baby Cardigan
Dates: Wednesdays, October 26, November 2, and November 9, 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Tuition: $75 / Three 2-hour sessions
Skill Prerequisites: Must know how to ch, sc, hdc, sl st and work them without supervision
Yarn: 500 – 1,000 yards of your choice of LB Collection® Cotton Bamboo, LB Collection® Superwash Merino, Modern Baby®, or Ice Cream® (enough for the size you want to make)
Hook: Crochet hook size US G-6 (or size to obtain gauge, bring hooks in a range of sizes to work Category 3 yarn to the first session)
Accessories: Large eye blunt needle, 1″ diameter button
