They’re all designed to introduce new techniques, or provide opportunities to work in a more one-on-one way on a specific project.

Tuesday, July 31: Knitting Doctor, 2pm – 4pm

Do you turn into a ball of stress when you realize you’ve dropped a stitch? Join Darrin Tuesday afternoon to learn how to get out of any knitting jam. The first step is learning how to ‘read your knitting’, to identify mis-knits. We’ll learn how to unknit, and fix a variety of common knitting mistakes.

Intro to Knitting in the Round

Wednesday, August 15: Intro to Knitting in the Round, 5pm – 8pm

Chances are, you may have picked up a technique for knitting in the round somewhere along the way. But how do you know it’s the right one for you? In this class, you’ll have the chance to try out four different techniques, so you can make an informed choice. Plus, you’ll learn how to convert a flat pattern into circular knitting, so you can keep making your favorites!

Colorwork Basics

Tuesday, August 21: Colorwork Basics, 5pm – 8pm

Colorwork is key to so many fun holiday patterns, so now is the perfect time to learn! In this class, you’ll learn the basics (and more!) for adding color to your knitting. We’ll learn about changing colors, working with stripes, carrying unused yarn, and more. You’ll be creating amazing designs in no time.

Bobble Mania!

Friday, August 10: Bobble Mania, 1pm – 4pm

Bobbles, popcorn, and nupps, oh my! These textured stitches show up in many knitting patterns, and add a lot of fun to any project. We’ll learn the structural similarities and how to substitute one for another. We’ll also learn the differences in execution and effect, and the Trinity Stitch, if there’s time.
