I really don’t appreciate you sending me emails for yarn that’s on sale that I can’t purchase! You should limit emails for yarn that is on sale “IN STUDIO ONLY” to those who live in New York ONLY. Why on earth would the rest of the country want to know about a sale on yarn we certainly are not going to be able to purchase without having to purchase a plane ticket to buy it? I really feel that’s just throwing it in our faces that we can’t have it because we don’t live in New York.

      Hi Nadine,
We apologize for any confusion, this is the website for the Lion Brand Yarn Studio, Lion Brand’s retail store in New York City. Our company website, http://www.lionbrand.com/ is open 24/7, ships every yarn we produce worldwide and offers frequent sales as well as a clearance section where you can find amazing bargains. If you are not able to come to New York City to take advantage of our in-store sales, your best bet is to subscribe to the Weekly Stitch, [http://www.lionbrand.com/subscribe] which promotes sales and specials available online wherever you call home. If you wish to unsubscribe to the Studio newsletter, you can find a link at the bottom of the email.

I didn’t specifically subscribe to your “in store” sales. I have no idea why I would get these! And I have purchased from Lion Brand online in the past. The problem is that whenever you put something on clearance, it sells out so fast that unless you have nothing better to do than sit on your computer all day, you never get to purchase any. By the time I get to the site, it’s sold out! Same goes for most sale items. So how do I get off the “in store sale” list?

Hi Nadine, If you find the email you no longer wish to receive and scroll down to the bottom you will see an “unsubscribe” link. Just click on that and we will remove your email from this list.

Living in San Diego county, I have felt the same way about the sales. Would love to attend, but that isn’t happening.

Why can’t we buy online, or call, and have it shipped to us? I buy lots of sale yarn that way.

I live in NC and am also bummed about not being able to have the discount on color waves. The box stores in my area do not carry color waves so I would have to order it from you. The 20% off would help with shipping.

Kwitchyerbellyakin! Take a look at what’s going on in the world – Manchester, Paris, 9/11, etc. and be thankful all you have to worry about is a minor email annoyance. I live in NYC (don’t forget, we have a bull’s-eye on our backs) and I wish I had a dollar for every email I get on car loans and car insurance – and I don’t own a car! There’s a saying – “Take what you need and leave the rest.” Just delete the store email and move along. Or, you could put a positive spin on the situation – seeing the yarns on sale in the store may give you an idea for your next project, or write in to Lion Brand Headquarters and see if they can open more stores around the country.

RE: your kits, I need to see instructions BEFORE I order to see if I want to order.
