This week marks the beginning of our first Fall trunk show, featuring Echoview Fiber Mill yarns. These beautiful yarns hail from, fittingly, Weaverville, North Carolina, and we’ll have them with us until the end of November. If you’re looking for a special yarn, whether you plan to give it or craft it, this is a perfect opportunity. Visit us in person at our Manhattan Studio to see their beautiful products and learn more about their work.

Sustainable & ‘Local’
Echoview founder Julie Jensen fell in love with her little pocket of North Carolina while visiting nearby Asheville, and knew she could make something special here. Her passion for eco-consciousness inspired her to grow her dream into the first Gold LEED Certified mill in the United States. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a globally-recognized achievement in sustainability. If you have the chance to visit them in person, you’ll find “happy fiber animals, honey bees, dye plants, and chickens.” You can even shop for their free-range eggs while picking out yarn!
Echoview Yarns
The Echoview yarn-makers are not only producers, but they’re also crafters & designers. This devotion to the entire yarn-crafting process makes them uniquely poised to create yarns that really work for crafters, which they’d be happy to use themselves. We’re thrilled to bring some of their fibers, including a few not listed online, to our NYC-based crafters and visitors.

Recycled Yarn Collective
Recycled Yarn Collective | $26
The Recycled Yarn Collective yarns are a fun collaboration between several producers. The base is super-soft merino wool, which is blended with 10% waste yarn from Reunion Yarn Co. & Loome.
The result is a fun & funky two-ply yarn that’s perfect for quick projects, whether it’s an easy sweater, hat, or mittens. Each skein is unique, and you’ll have the confidence when purchasing that every bit of fiber was used to make these cozy yarns.
- Colors: Creamy White, Deep Black, Slate Gray
- Weight: 100g (3.5oz) / #5 Chunky
- Length: 140yds

Ameripaca Yarn
PacaWool | $26
This fresh and rustic yarn is an alpaca / merino blend that’s perfect for larger-scale projects. Because of the soft blended fibers, whatever you make with PacaWool is going to be exceptionally cozy.
- Colors: Wolf, Ember Black, Walnut Brown, Silver Birch, Soft Ivory

Ameripaca Yarn
AmeriPaca | $28
This elegant yarn is 100% American alpaca, completely sourced from small local farmers around the country. All the yarns go through minimal processing, so no dyes are used to create these gorgeous colors. Ameripaca also has a natural shine, which will develop further over time with wear, giving your projects an alpaca ‘glow’.
- Colors: Dark Chocolate, Light Calico, Dark Calico, Heathered Ash
- Weight: 100g (3.5oz) / #3 Light Worsted
- Length: 200yds

Ranger Merino DK | $24
There are so many beautiful colors of this delightfully straightforward yarn, it’s hard to decide what to cast on first! This Ranger Merino DK blend is 90% super soft merino from the USA, and 10% of Rambouillet from a mill just up the road. We’ll have the 3-ply DK weight for our trunk show.
- Weight: 100g (3.5oz) / #3 (Light) DK
- Length: 200yds
Echoview Kits & Bags

In addition to yarns, we’ll be getting some other fun goodies from Echoview, like the Pritchard Pullover Knit Kit. We’ll be hosting this kit in multiple sizes and color combinations, starting at $63. This kit includes enough Recycled Yarn Collective yarn to create your desired size, the knitting pattern, a project bag, and stitch markers. Needles are not included.

We’ll also have the Sunrise Garden Shawl Knit Kit, in various color combinations ($70). All the yarns included in this kit are botanically hand-dyed on location at Echoview. The 100% wool yarn used in this kit will be soft and cozy, but it’s really the details that make this shawl special. From the slight ribbing at the edge, to the linen stitch at the color shifts, this is a very special piece.
