Whether you want to take a class or a private lesson, 
we have the right fit for you. Once you’re on your way, you can practice your new-found skills and meet new people with the free groups and clubs that we host throughout the month. (See all the options on our Free Groups & Events page.)
Each month, in our three classroom spaces, we offer a full range of classes from absolute beginners to expert level. We also offer a revolving schedule of exciting technique and project workshops taught by our staff, as well as by guest teachers from all over the country. Discover skills from lace knitting and intarsia to Tunisian crochet, and even weaving, machine knitting, and dyeing.

How to Book a Class
Click on the schedule / booking tab above for all class details, times, and pricing. You can book your class online, or call 212-243-9070 during store hours to reserve your space. On the first of every month, two months of classes go on sale (for example: on January 1st, January and February classes go on sale). Our classes fill up quickly, so be sure to book early.

Not Sure What Class or Workshop to Take?
Our classes are offerings available every month; they include basic level classes, as well as ongoing sessions like Project Knitting & Crocheting. Read the individual descriptions to find out what skills each one covers.
We have categorized all of our workshops into “Tracks.” Each track includes workshops that cover a specific skill set (like “Color-work”) or related courses (like “Intro To”). Select a Track that interests you to find out which workshops are right for you. To see our current list of workshops, click on the “Workshop Track” tab above. (The list will be updated monthly, so remember to check back often for new listings.)
Each workshop listing includes the skill prerequisites. Please be sure to check the prerequisites, and if you are uncertain about whether a workshop is the right fit, feel free to call us at 212-243-9070.

Need follow-up help after a class? Just have a knitting or crochet question you need addressed? No problem. Free drop-in help is available every week:
- Crochet Doctor is in every Tuesday 5:30 – 6:30 pm
- Knitting Doctor is in every Wednesday 5:30 – 6:30 pm
