      Hi Joanne,

The Sock Knitting Basics class teaches how to knit socks from the cuff down on double-pointed needles. If you’d like to learn toe-up socks and the magic loop method, I would wait for either our Socks on Magic Loop class (which is cuff-down), or one of our two toe-up sock classes (which use either DPNs or magic loop). Alternatively, you can request a private lesson and focus on exactly what you want to learn with a teacher in a one-on-one setting.

I would like to request a toe up on magic loop private class if available. If it is available kindly let me know when I could take such a class and the cost. I will be in Manhattan from Mon 4/23 until Tues, May 1. Or we can make some other date that’s convenient to all.
        thank you.

PS if convenient I can be reached by text at 917 208 2794

Hi, Joanne – we’d love to schedule this private class with you! Unfortunately, our phone here at the Studio is a landline, and we aren’t able to text. Would you be able to give us a call sometime at 212-243-9070? If that isn’t convenient, you can email studio@lionbrand.com as well. We’ll look forward to hearing from you!

Wish you would have more crochet patterns available. I’ve tried knit and can’t even cast- on without the yarn falling off the needles. Love the Mandala yarn and would like more patterns to choose form.
